Karen R. Ek Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen R. Ek of Shell Lake, Wisconsin, born in Menomonie, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 10, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rock Peterson and Alma Peterson; her brother Jim; and her son Mike. She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey Ek (Kathy) of Oconomowoc, Paul Ek (Connie) of Minocqua, Steve Ek of West Allis and Charles "Chip" Ek (Sandi) of Racine; her adoptive daughters, Robin Mercier and Kim Coran; and her brother Charles Peterson (Ruth) of Eau Claire. She is also survived by Seven Grandchildren, Five Great-Grandchildren.
