He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Alt and Leatrice Alt (Melquist); his brother Michael Alt Sr.; and his brother-in-law Patrick Kittler. He is survived by: his daughters, Christi Alt (Nicholas Haessly), Lindsay Pederson (Jacob) and Laura Alt (Levi Fletcher); his grandchildren, Grace Harris, Kayla Pederson, Korah Alt and Kenley Pederson; and his sister Linda Kittler.
