We announce the death of Ralph Hanson of Shell Lake, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 6, 2026, at the age of 97. He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Hanson and Olga Hanson (Thompson); his wife Joyce Audrey Kommerstad; and his sister Gloria Brown. He is survived by: his children, Jay (Sandy), Wayne (Patti) and Elizabeth Ehrlichmann (Andrew); his grandchildren, Michael (Michelle), Lauren (Robert), Mark (Michelle) and Tyler (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Max, Beaux, June, Charlotte, Adeline, Sloane, Parker and Randi; and his brother Richard Hanson (Roberta). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
