As William departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though William may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy William leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold McCann and Lorraine McCann (Dochniak); and his siblings, Dan McCann and Kathy Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Peterson; his children, William McCann of Shell Lake and Katherine Hoy of Spooner; his grandchildren, Lorelei, Steven and Sabrina Hoy; and his siblings, Dave McCann (Penny) of Danbury, Harold McCann Jr. (Diane) of Spooner, Terri Rossow (Rich) of Webster and Lynn McCann. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
