He was predeceased by : his parents, Herbert Hooyman and Agnes Hooyman (Peeters); his siblings, Robert, Joan, Francis and Paul Hooyman; and his in-laws, Robert, Mary Pietz and Marvin Marotz.
He is survived by : his wife Lorraine Pietz; his children, Tracy Hooyman (Lonnie Young), Andy Hooyman (Stacy), Kristy Widmann (Brian) and Tina Parker (Cody); his grandchildren, Courtney, Connor, Trevor (Marie), Skylor, Trenton, Myles, Hailey, Isla, Andrea and Maddoc; his great grandchildren, Savanna, Evelyn, Victor and Blakely; his siblings, Jim Hooyman (Joy), Mary Sue Schmude (John), Jean Schroth (Jerome), Rita Schroth (Dan), Elaine Conradt (Dan), Connie Hooyman, Carla Chizek (Al), Bill Hooyman and Bonnie Hooyman; his in-laws, Leon Pietz (Barb) and Linda Marotz; and his nephews, Zachary, Colton and Nathan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
