He was predeceased by : his father Joseph Braun; his brother Peter; his parents-in-law, Jacqueline and Merlin Bessette; his brother-in-law Jack Knorr; and his nephew John Knorr Jr..
He is survived by : his wife Sonja Bessette; his sons, Michael Braun Jr. and Charles Braun (Cindy); and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Braun, Jeno Bast (Jack), Glenda Knorr, Cindy Rohloff (Jeff), Joseph Bessette (Connie) and Mitchell Bessette (Dawn). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and very dear friends.
