He was predeceased by : his parents, Gerald Straten and Arlene Van Straten (Ellis); his wife Kerrie Conradt; his father-in-law Charles Conradt (Audrey); and his brother-in-law Greg Conradt.
He is survived by : his children, Annette "Annie" Preisler (Justin) and Theodore "Ted" Van Straten (Kayla); his grandchildren, Lucille, Eleanore, Vincent, Mabel Preisler, Willliam, Thomas and Audrey Van Straten; his siblings, Diane Seidler (Van Straten), Wayne Van Straten (Diana), Doug Van Straten (Sue), Jennifer Garrison (Marvin), Laurie Behnke (Mike), Kay Conradt and Amy McGlone (Jim); and his godson Matt Powers. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
