He is survived by: his significant other Karla Elgin; his children, Kari Brown (Adam) of Oregon and Michael Hill (Iris) of Cottage Grove, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Stella, Atticus, Willow Hill and Barrett Brown; his siblings, David Hill (Audrey), Loretta Bevars, Arnetta Beau (Robert), Susie Reynolds (Dave), Ronnie Hill (Joyce), Rose McCoy (Ray) and Randy Hill (Cathy); and his father-in-law Raymond Elgin. He is also survived by in-laws, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Erickson Funeral Home (235 N Judgement St, Shullsburg, WI 53586). Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Matthew's Catholic Church (344 N Judgement St, Shullsburg, WI 53586).
Through the gift of organ donation, Ricky's family and friends were blessed with an additional 33 years with him here on earth.
