He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. James J. Demler and Anastasia M. Demler (Rolf); and his siblings, James Demler, Rodney Demler, June Bostwick, Jackie Custer, Martha Little and Beverly Schoenung.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Demler (Zimmerman); his sons, Joseph Demler (Colleen Brassow Demler) and Patrick Demler (Hugo Gil); and his grandchildren, Marie Demler and Erik Demler.
In lieu of flowers and plants, a memorial of any type can be made to the Salvation Army in Richard's name.
