He was predeceased by: his parents, William Elfers and Elizabeth Elfers; and his brother Kurt Elfers. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Kathleen Elfers of Silver Lake, WI; and his nephew David Elfers (Thiney Vang) of Sun Prairie, WI. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
