It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaVerne Kordon of Sister Bay, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of LaVerne Kordon to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jon. She is survived by: her sons, Peter, Eric (Debbie), Paul (Juli) and Andrew (Jenny); her grandsons, Sam, Jacob, Max, Lucas, Jon and Sten; her great grandchild Jameson; and her sister Bonnie Vanderwarn. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 23rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the First Baptist Church (2622 S Bay Shore Dr, Sister Bay, WI 54234). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to First Baptist Church or The Salvation Army of Door County PO Box 644, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235.
