He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Meyerpeter (Matter) and Gilbert Meyerpeter; and his siblings, Judith Miller and Lee. He is survived by: his wife Erma Chowhan (Chowhan); his children, Donald Jr. Meyerpeter (Paulette) and Sherrie Meyerpeter (Leonard Reimer); and his grandchildren, Natalie Meeds (Brandon), Andrew Taylor (Amber), Melissa Vernon (Caleb), Thomas Meyerpeter (Kendra McCollum) and Douglas Sharpley Jr.. He is also survived by Seven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
