We announce the death of Dorothy Ida Boness of Slinger, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 25, 2026, at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henrietta Fleischfresser and Arthur Fleischfresser; her husbands, Frederick Richard Boness of Paul's Lutheran Church, Albert Fleischfresser (Elisabeth) and Arthur Fleischfresser (Gloria); and her siblings-in-law, Yvonne Fleischfresser and David Froeming.
She is survived by: her brother Norm; her friends, Jan, Muriel, Norm and Arlene; her brother Al; her sister-in-law Judy; her daughters, Cindy Boness, Doreen Boness, Jane Prahlow (Matthew) and Karen Boness (Robert Terhune); her brother Robert Fleischfresser; and her siblings-in-law, Allen Boness (Judy), Darlene Froeming and Jan Froeming. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church (2862 N 53rd St, Milwaukee, WI 53210). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Butternut Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Mount Calvary Lutheran Church or a charity of your choice.
