He was predeceased by: his daughter Tonya; his parents, Roy Shortts and Janetta Shortts; and his grandmother West. He is survived by: his sons, Colin (Sarah) and Elliot; the mother of his children Elizabeth Shortts; his granddaughters, Kaitlyn, Emily and Camryn Shortts; his brother Terry Shortts (Sandy); his nephews, Darcy (Pam) and Corey (Jamie); his great-nephews, Luka and Blake; and his great-niece Lainey.
