He was predeceased by : his parents, LeRoy Fairman and Gertrude Fairman of Stoughton, Wisconsin; his brother Mitchell; his parents-in-law, Dorothy Schrank and Gilbert Schrank; his stepmother-in-law Loretta; and his sister-in-law Dee Imoff of Reedsburg, Wis..

He is survived by : his wife Darlene; his sister Sharon Snead (Sam) of Virginia; and his siblings-in-law, David "Butch" Schrank of Indiana, Dale Schrank (Karen) of Reedsburg, Donna Schmidt (Leonard) and Deb Schrank of Reedsburg. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and additional family and friends.
