He is survived by: his wife Louise Prefontaine; his children, Jean Lehn (Tom) and Mark Prefontaine (Kim); his grandchildren, Nicole, Kyle Prefontaine, Brady, Brenden Ban and Ashley Moll (Mike); his great grandchildren, Breckett, Kolstyn and Haislyn; and his stepchildren, Kurt (Donna) and Karen Pflughoeft. He is also survived by family members and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are appreciated to the Slinger Historical Museum for a memorial bench to be placed in John's honor.
