Though Maria may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Maria touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph and Maria; her husband Joseph; her stepfather Otto Heuweiser; her brother-in-law Franz Kӧniger; her nephew Franz Kӧniger Jr.; and her parents-in-law, Johann and Elisabeth Sojak.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph L. Sojak, Elizabeth "Betty" and Marianne Sojak; and her siblings, Otto Heuweiser Jr. (Andjelka) and Anneliese Kӧniger. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
