He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lucas and Beverly Lucas (DuFour); and his sister Patricia Lucas. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lucas; his children, Mindy Powell (John) and Christopher Lucas (Carrie); his grandson Matthew Lucas; his sister-in-law Joyce Schuelke (Jeff); his nieces and nephews, Kyle Schuelke, Paul Schuelke, Erik Schuelke, Danial Laszkiewicz, Holly Laszkiewicz and Thomas Laszkiewicz; and his siblings, Jeffrey Lucas (Deb), Robin Lucas (Jenny) and Scot Lucas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Rick's honor to The Kathy Hospice.
