He is survived by: his wife Gertrude Roge; his children, Linda (Terrence Markovich), Kimball (Barry Young) and Brian (Ruth Kauffmann); his grandchildren, Naomi Roots (Oscar Quintana) and Paul Roots (Sarah Cordes Roots); and his great grandchildren, Saya, Julian Quintana and Asa Roots. He is also survived by many friends and nieces and nephews.
