Gerald Rydeski Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald Rydeski (South Milwaukee, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Leah; his brother Richard; and his grandson Joseph. He is survived by: his children, John (Beth), Tom (Stephanie), Jonell (James) and Megan (Jeff); his sister Janet (Tom); his grandchildren, Nic, Robert (Chris), Margaret (Connor), Patrick (Amanda), Charlie, Madelyn (Adam), Finn, Bridget, Lucas, Logan and Landon; his great grandchild Emmie; and his close friend Jilloyn Sodemann. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Divine Mercy Parish (800 Marquette Ave, South Milwaukee, WI 53172). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Wounded Warrior Project are appreciated.
