He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Pocian and June Pocian (Laine); his stepfather Jack; and his brothers, Glenn and Danny.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy.

His contributions to his field were significant, and he was equally involved in his professional community, always willing to lend his expertise and guide his peers.
