He was predeceased by: his parents, James Erickson and Catherine Erickson (Moen); his daughter Jessica Erickson; and his siblings, Edward Erickson and Sandy Walsh.
He is survived by: his wife Judy of Sparta; his children, Lindsay Devillers (Josh) of Green Bay, Lisa Erickson (James Pollack) of Sparta and Lacey Schaffner (John) of Janesville; his grandchildren, Riley, Liam, Braeden, Avery, Harper, Evan, Ethan and Nicolas; and his siblings, James Erickson Jr. (Gloria) of Houston, MN, Richard Erickson of La Crosse, Marlene Branson of Galesville, Michael Erickson of Centerville and Clarissa Erickson of Holmen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church (210 N Court St, Sparta, WI 54656). The military honors will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (875 N Water St, Sparta, WI 54656).
