He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Hering and Telyea. He is survived by: his wife Dot (Spink); his daughters, Dory Baker (Mike), Debbie Hering (Brent), Deanna Hutchinson (Tom) and Denise Halverson (Mark); and his grandchildren, John, Natalie, Eric, Jason, Nicole, Macie, Tyler, Adam, Nina, Alexie and Jake. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to Sparta United Methodist Church, or Rolling Hills Rehabilitation Center.
