He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Valery Stockel and Alice Stockel (Haugen); his son Matt; his daughter-in-law Angie Stockel; his grandsons, Carter, Jude and Jonas Stockel; and his siblings, Lavonne Rivers (Joe), Kay Austin (Alan), Mary Stockel, Thomas Stockel (Bonnie), Donald Stockel (Nancy), Vincent Stockel, Russell Stockel, Rodney Stockel, David, Dale, Alan Stockel and Virginia Wiblin. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery (17553 Ideal Rd, Sparta, WI 54656).
