With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jolene Elizabeth Schmitz Vieth (Sparta, Wisconsin), born in Cashton, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 12, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Schmitz and Lorna Schmitz; her husband Gerald Vieth; and her brothers, Cyril Schmitz and LeRoy Schmitz.
She is survived by: her great grandchildren, Lucas Rickert, Delaney Rickert, Hailey Hietpas, Kamden Kieffer, Nolan Lavery, Asher Lavery, Scarlett Lavery and Henry Jones; and her sister Arlene Lambert. She is also survived by her six grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Patrick's Church in Sparta, or Sparta Area Cancer Support, in her memory.
