With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Kindt of Sparta, Wisconsin, born in Richmond, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 1, 2025 at the age of 69. He is survived by: his wife Jaleata Schaitel; his children, Jennie (Trevor), Alena, Harrison, Giddeon and Jason (Erin); his grandson Jackson; his stepson Jason (Randi); his stepgrandchildren, Anthony, Becca and Aiden; his stepson Mark; and his brothers, William and Raymond.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation (106 W Franklin St, Sparta, WI 54656). A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Grove Cemetery (1407 La Crosse St, La Crosse, WI 54601).
