He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Steinhoff and Catherine Steinhoff (Steidl); his siblings, Carol, Nan, Donna, Bob, Tom, Pat, Danny, Pete and Dennis; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Ann and Lynn.
He is survived by: his siblings, John (Vicki), Linda, Jerry, Jeff (Jeanne) and Barb Ward (Leo); his siblings-in-law, Jerry Erickson, Gene Kaijala, Laurie, Diane and Norma; and his friend John Roehrl (Char). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation (106 W Franklin St, Sparta, WI 54656). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery (17553 Ideal Rd, Sparta, WI 54656).
