He was predeceased by: his mother Bessie Hobson; his brother Merlin Baker; and his son-in-law David Hartenstine. He is survived by: his brother Richard Hobson (Doris); and his children, Ann Baker (Wally Madland), Mike Baker (Dory) and Susan Hartenstine. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation (106 W Franklin St, Sparta, WI 54656). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. John's Ev Lutheran Cemetery (1315 Jefferson Ave, Sparta, WI 54656).
