He is survived by: his siblings, Peggy Halverson (Gary), James Hoeft (Karen), Thomas Hoeft, Gerald Hoeft (Kelly), Jeffrey Hoeft (Donna) and John Hoeft (Kristen). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation (106 W Franklin St, Sparta, WI 54656). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at 110 E Oak St, Sparta, WI 54656.
To honor Bags and his love of reading, the family will collect memorial contributions to donate to the Sparta Free Library.
