Sue Ruger of Sparta, Wisconsin passed away on August 26, 2026. Sue, born on March 13, 1941, shared life alongside family, friends, and others. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Wallace and Elsie M. Wallace (Ingalls); her husband Joseph Ruger; her sons, Barry Couture and Timothy Couture; her sisters, Juanita Bonter, Linda Charboneau and Norma Rice; and her brothers-in-law, James Rice, James Hull and Calvin "Bobo" Charboneau.
She is survived by: her children, Jennings Couture of Slidell, LA, Scott Couture of Mason, MI and Michelle Stendel (Shawn) of Sparta, WI; and her siblings, Shirley Hull of Levering, MI and Nelson LaPointe (Rose) of Mackinaw City, MI. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Straits (307 N Huron Ave, Mackinaw City, MI 49701).
