He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Wanzung and Barbara Wanzung (Endres); his stepmother Elizabeth; and his brothers, Joseph, Charles and Mathias.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Nielsen; and his children, Dawn Richter (Michael), Gail Trenkenschu (late Robert), Daniel Wanzung (Patricia), Brenda Davies (Troy) and Joanne Lang (Mitchell). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
