He was predeceased by: his parents, James Laidlaw and Faith Laidlaw (Haley). He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Laidlaw, James Laidlaw Jr. (Billie) and Eric Laidlaw; his grandchildren, Morgan, Conner, Samantha, Ethan and Logan; and his half-siblings, Scott Strand and Shawn Strand.
