He is survived by: his children, Kay Phippen, Kent, Richard (Millie) and Carol Taplin; his grandson Anson (Danni); his great grandchildren, Alexandra and Samantha; his granddaughter Kim Gartner (Steve); his great grandchildren, Margaret Gartner, Emma Jensen (Matt) and Noah Gartner (Justyce); his granddaughter Colleen Zimmerman (Todd Schneider); his great grandchildren, Brandon Zimmerman (Stacy) and Jenny Percy (Mike); his granddaughter Debbie Murphy; his great grandchild Nathan (Kristin); his grandson John Phippen (Stacy); his great grandchildren, Kennedy, Zoey and Zander; his granddaughter Whitney Peterson (Tim); his great grandchildren, Arya May, Jayce and Riely; his grandchildren, Derek Taplin, Eric Taplin and Amanda Kutzke (Tony); his great grandchildren, Madison and Brynn; Ella, Aila, Jaxon, Brooks, Clara, Brett and Collett. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.

After he recovered from a bad case of Covid 19, he decided to move Greenway Terrace.
