He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludwig "Lute" Haas and Esther Haas (Ruhland); his siblings, Laverne (Butch), Louie, Clete, Ken, Dick Haas, Lorraine (Burmeister), Rita (Ruhland), Lucille Haas and Margaret; and his siblings-in-law, Ernie Burmeister, Francis Ruhland, Elsie (Clete) and Luella Haas (Butch).
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Haas; his children, Joni Brander (Doug), Randy Haas (Laura Kraemer), Reg Haas and Jane McGuire (Jerry); his grandchildren, Derek Brander, Chelsea Brander-Willey (Scott), Jared McGuire, Connor Haas, Collin Haas and Ciara Kraemer Haas; his great grandchildren, Blaire and Bella Willey; and his sister-in-law Gerry Haas of Cedar Rapids, IA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
