With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Vanasse of Spring Valley, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 31, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Howe and Cecelia Howe (Eisenbart); her husband David; her daughter Susan (Tim Ormson); her granddaughter-in-law Shannon; her great grandchild Leo; and her in-laws, Bill, Mary Lois Howe, Kathy Howe, Jim, Janet Howe, Carole, Bob May, Barb and Jack Rowe.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Atter (Russ), Tom Vanasse (Cindy), Scott Vanasse (Lisa) and Eric Vanasse (Holly); her grandchildren, Brandon Johnson (Brenda), Jesse Johnson, Michelle Moe (Jess), Carrie Helland (Jason), Luke Vanasse (Katie), Mariah Vanasse, Alyssa Atter, Abigail Vanasse (Micah Day) and Andrew Vanasse; her great grandchildren, Adia, Hudson, Molly, Mila, Emily, Katelynn, Rayna and Barrett; and her brother-in-law Irvin Vanasse. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gilman Lutheran Church (8221 330th St, Spring Valley, WI 54767). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
