He is survived by: his children, Cory Coons (Jay) of Minong, WI, Scott Thayer of Springbrook, WI and William Thayer of Rice Lake, WI; his daughter-in-law Heather Larson Thayer of Rice Lake, WI.; his siblings, Sheila Frasier, David Thayer, Albert Thayer, Gloria Langdon, Janet Anderson, Joni Thayer, Ed Rau and Jean Porter; and his grandchildren, Marissa, Katie, Cassidy, Bryce, Clayton, Carson, Braydon, Hannah and Brennan. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
