He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Gotmer and Hazel Gotmer (Farris); and his siblings, Mary Gotmer-Cassel and Alfred Gotmer. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly; his children, Bernard (Victoria), Jane (Raymond), Brigham, Joseph (Amanda), Samuel (Bridgitte), Joy (Chase) and Faith (Ryan); and his grandchildren, Soren, Andrew, Roland, Marian, Collin, Brennan, Ahren, Parker, Walker, Raymond, Mallory, Holley, Jackson, Ava, Olivia, Ivy, Nikita, Lillian, Kimber, Kimberly and Waverly.
In Lieu of Flowers, the family is asking for donations to AA.
