He was predeceased by : his parents, Norma Samplawski and James Samplawski; his grandparents, Norman, Susan Wundrow, Clarence and Irene Samplawski; and his siblings-in-law, Leon, Theresa Witt and Thomas Eppers.

He is survived by : his sons, Andrew (LeAnn) and Dustin (Kelsey); his wife Doreen (Witt); his siblings, James D. (Debbie), Alan (Ronda) and Ronda Gulich (Jeff); his siblings-in-law, LouAnn Weiss (Earrl), William Witt (Nichelle) and Cory Witt (Nicole); his nieces and nephews, Heather, Allison, Casey, Christopher, Jacob, Chloe, Tanner, Austin, Michael, Gavin, Noah, Mitchell, Clarissa, Brenda and Kennedy; and also Buddy. He is also survived by great-nephews; and many great friends.
