She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Harrell Martin and Adeline Barbee Martin; her husband William Wayne "Bob" Franklin; and her siblings, Harrell Martin and Frances Armstrong.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Dickinson (Alan Dickinson) and Tina Cole (Jamie Cole); her grandchildren, Luke Dickinson (Lauren), Lee Dickinson, Taylor Cole and William Cole; and her great grandchild Carter Dickinson. She is also survived by three sisters, five brothers, and countless nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to First Baptist Church Handbell Choir, 202 S 4th St, Smithfield, NC 27577.
