He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Grothpietz and Louise Grothpietz (Krueger); his aunt Ruth; and his cousin Karen. He is survived by: his sisters, Sandra Grothpietz and Linda Johnson (Ronald); his nephew Ronald Johnson Jr. (Stacy); and his great-nephews, Austin and Logan Johnson.
