He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James "Jim" and Genevieve; his brother-in-law Trace Munger; and his aunt Karen Beardsley. He is survived by: his parents, Duane Peterson and Sharon Peterson (Girling); his children, Emma (Sean), Markus and Shawn Girling; his siblings, Laura Peterson (Chris), Dale Peterson (Melissa), Donna Laughlin (Kevin), Jill Munger (Gary) and Amanda "Kennedy" Hindenach (Brian); his niece Jenna Laughlin; his nephew Josh Peterson; and his great-nephew David.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Shuda Funeral Chapel (3200 Stanley St, Stevens Point, WI 54481). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
