He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Fitzsimmons and Mavis Fitzsimmons (Armitage); his sisters, Priscilla "Kitty" and Kimberly "Kimmy" Fitzsimmons; and his nephews, Ryan Fitzsimmons and Christopher Schraufnagel.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Ladwig; his children, Abigail Schulke and Victor Fitzsimmons; his stepchildren, Natasha Jones (Diontae), Kelsey Sharkey (Kyle) and Rodney Rowland Jr.; his grandchildren, Eneka, Ijah, Shay, Carter, Kailo and Zaiden; his silbings, Mary Dodd (Darrel), Tom Fitzsimmons (Patti), Robert Fitzsimmons and Pam Greviskes; his parents-in-law, Robert and Isabel Ladwig; and his siblings-in-law, Todd Ladwig (Brenda) and Lisa Schraufnagel (Pete). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
