He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Talbot; his sons, Toby Koy (Virginia) and Jamie Koy; his granddaughter Georgia Koy; his brother Gary Koy (Carmen Bubar); and his parents, Hazel Koy and Earl Koy.

Larry's family admired his perseverance in dealing with adversity, including Parkinson's Disease at the end of his life.
