With sadness, we share the passing of Lisa A. Firkus of Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Lisa, born on October 30, 1959, passed away on September 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Lisa for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Werachowski and Ruth Werachowski (Pieczynski); her brothers, Mikey Werachowski and Rick Werachowski (Marilyn); and her nephew Eric Werachowski.
She is survived by: her husband Jerome Firkus; and her siblings, Judy Sankey (Charles), Tony Werachowski (Bonnie), Jeff Werachowski (Debbie) and Michele Bieniewski (Walter). She is also survived by sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shuda Plover Funeral Chapel (2400 Plover Rd, Plover, WI 54467). A rosary will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM and at 7:00 PM at the St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (5589 Dewey Dr, Stevens Point, WI 54481). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
