In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Marcia had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Marcia may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth (Virginia Cole) and Marcia; and her husband Charles Dalkert. She is survived by: her son Stefan (Betsy); her grandchildren, June, Gwendolyn and Stefan Thomas Charles; her daughter Melissa (Jeffrey); her sister Jayne; and her brother-in-law Jim McCarthy.
Memorial donations in Marcia's name can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Epilepsy Foundation, or to the Chicago Botanic Garden.
