It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maris Rushevics (Stevens Point, Wisconsin), who passed away on September 23, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Maris has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his son Gavin; and his parents, Voldemars and Austra. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Rushevics (Burns); his son Brian (Vicki); his grandchildren, Alicen (Meghan), Zarek (Bre), Kinsey (Ethan) and Keeley; and his stepson Michael Keough Jr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
