She is survived by: her children, Lisa Rennie, Paul Matis (Lisa), Christy Blenker (Brian) and Cathy Jo Matis; her daughter-in-law Krista Matis; her grandchildren, Ashley, Corrina, Andrew, Brett, Joe, Sam, Haley and Alisha; her great grandchildren, Easton, Evelyn, Athena and Charlotte; and her siblings, Joan Alters (Mike) and Tim Schuster. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Oratory (325 Grand Ave, Wausau, WI 54403). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the St. Mary Cemetery (712 Market St, Marathon City, WI 54448).
