He was predeceased by: his grandmother Daisy Faber; his parents, Olaf Hammerstad and Wilma Hammerstad; and his sisters, Alvon Brandt and Bonita Syms.
He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, James Hammerstad (Carrie), Jeff Hammerstad (Noelle) and Jennifer Bicknase (Adam); his grandchildren, Noah, Anthony, Bridgette, Kaleb, Thomas, Mekaillah and Landon; and his sister Phyllis Mason. He is also survived by other loving family members and dear friends.
