He is survived by: his wife Verna; his children, Cindy Hackl (Steve) of Stevens Point, WI, Dr. Jim Kickland (Haley) of Atlantic, IA and Ronda Kickland of Plover, WI; and his granddaughters, Jamie Kickland, Madelyn Kickland and Mycala Kickland.
After Covid they spent the remaining winters in Texas, Florida, and Mississippi.
Richard is donating his body to Mayo Clinic for research.
