He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Sonnenberg and Gertrude Sonnenberg (Steinke); and his sister Carol McGee (Richard). He is survived by: his wife Maryann Burant; his children, Jeffery Sonnenberg and Ann Zdroik (John); his grandchildren, Hunter Sonnenberg, Gunner Zdroik (Nina Marchigianni) and Montana Zdroik (Aidan Everard); his daughter Cecelia Sonnenberg; and his siblings, Ruth Hammon (Al) and Ron Sonnenberg (Marie). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Stevens Point.
